Quarantine Entry #2: Summer Solstice

We are four months into “quarantine” here in California and all I’ve witnessed is the blatant lack of medical care and rampant riots across the U.S. From #BLM to the folks protesting masks. It all feels unreal.

The division within our country is so vivid. Our not so perfect, “free” country. In this time I only pray and hope we get through this. In moments of dispare I always seemed to remember our countrymen and women coming together as grand communities. To be there for one another. The same kind of community that is taught to us as children. Where did it all go? When did we lose track of what was important?

A.

Post Script: I wish you joy and light. May your heart sing like The Great Spirit. Happy Summer Solstice.
